How to Handle Network Marketing objection?

 We as human being never like objections. Most of the people don’t go for any kind of selling because they don’t like to hear NO, Me too. When, I first time approached by one of my relative for Network Marketing in year 2000. I simply said No to him because I don’t like selling. Still, I am not comfortable in selling.

It was my good luck that I found the Book “Question are the answers”. This book changed my mindset completely. We all know, if we want to earn Big money we must be perfect in selling. Even if, you go for a job, you first sell your CV, then you sell your skill, talent and time. Transaction is the law of nature without giving you can’t expect returns. You have to pay price for everything you want to get. In Network marketing, one of the basic skills required is to sell.

As a human being, our habit is to share and promote things or services we like to our near and dear. We are social being and our habit is to talk to people we meet. If any one of your relative or friends, ask you about good hotel, Food, Bike, car, mobile phones, Books or any product or service you recommend them, if you like any products or services. In return you don’t expect money. Even if they don’t buy your recommended things or service, it doesn’t hurt you because you recommended it selflessly. It is the basic human Nature.

Network Marketing is successful all over the world because it’s based on the human nature.

 

When money is involved in recommending, you take it personal if someone don’t buy your recommended products and services. Everyone is unique and have their likes and dislikes. We should not force any one. When you insist, it seems like you are selling. If you only recommend more number of people, you will get people who buy your products or services and some of them will like the model of Network marketing. Network marketing is the business of recommendation not selling. To be successful you have to find people who want to become distributor. Your job is to recruit and train people who have ambition and Hunger to be successful.

Still, majority of the people have many objections about network marketing business. It’s all about Mindset and lack of knowledge. The book which changed my mindset about Network marketing is “Business School” written by Robert T Kiyosaki.  

Anything new in our society has to face objection phase. We easily accept tradition. We don’t want change. But we accept change gradually. There are many examples in our society which changed like Sati Pratha, cast wise work, inter cast marriages, gender discrimination, nuclear family size etc.

Why don’t we want to change the way of earning?

Network marketing is nothing but a change in Traditional Distribution system of product and services. It has the power to change the inequality in our society. In traditional business there is no scope for those who don’t have capital. They are bound to be an employee or laborers. Nothing wrong in it but if you are ambitious and you have an average educational qualification and you belong to middle class who don’t have capital there is no scope in traditional business for you. You have to work life time just to pay your bills. It’s the traditional approach of business responsible for the gap broadened.

Network marketing is a new way of distribution system. Here celebrity don’t promote the product without using and experiencing. We believe in use then recommend philosophy. Anything you use from morning to night has marketing and distribution cost involve in MRP. Normally 40% and in some products up to 90% is the cost you pay. But you don’t know who is earning this gap between production cost and MRP so you don’t have any objection. It is Normal for you but if any known person is recommending you product then you have the objection.

I admit that some network marketers and some companies which seems to be network marketing, made the bad name in people. Everything which is yellow and shines may not be Gold.

This industry is still in beginning phase and no regulations are there. Now we have guidelines but still no law or regulatory body. So we should use our common sense to select and buy any company to work with or to buy and share products and services.

In every era there is Ram and Ravana, Krishna and Kansh. So there are good and bad companies and network marketer. So, you should do your due diligence. We network marketers should not exaggerate product and business opportunity, people hate exaggeration and Hype. We should not claim false results of product or business opportunity.

The way, world is changing, our lifestyle is changing, Luxury become comforts and necessity. We should rethink and put our effort to deep dive into the subject of Network marketing. Be it, part time or full time depends on individuals but you must do it if you are ambitious.

Some common objections are:

I don’t have Time.

This objection is very common for those who are engaged in 9-5 job.

Answer:

There are people who are building Network marketing business part time. If you have strong dreams and goal you should work some extra mile.

Do you think if you continue to do what you are doing you will have time in Future. Certainly not, so if you don’t have time, it is not good you must work part time to earn time in future. Not having time to achieve important in life is not an achievement, it is to worry. If you build this business in spare time, you will have Time in future, to do what you enjoy. If you spend your whole  time to help achieving your employer’s dream, you will never get time for yourself. Work for yourself and retire at 40 with huge sum of amount in your bank account to enjoy rest of your life.

I Don’t have money.

This objection usually comes from skeptical prospects actually they don’t have faith in your products and business opportunity otherwise anyone can manage.

If they really have don’t money it’s really serious and you should show other Flexible payment options. You should show them examples in your team who didn’t have money but it was important for them so they did it anyways. Most of the company are offering now free distribution ship offer it. Say, I just want to help you. We will arrange the money. Let’s start.

 

Is it a Pyramid schemes?

Many people are scared of being involved into a pyramid schemes, because they heard so many cases, where people lost their hard earned money and reputation in scheme and scams. You need to show them that you are working with a legitimate company and products that has its presence in many countries around the globe. You can refer any famous person who are working in your company. You can refer the name of famous advocates of network marketing like Donald Trump, Warren Buffett, and Richard Branson. You can also acknowledge their friend’s situation, and ask why their friend lost money at it. You can handle this objection by showing difference between illegal pyramid schemes and MLM.

Products are too expensive

It is a common wrong notion that products in network marketing are expensive. Ask them in what comparison you find it expensive? There are soaps in market of INR 10 and of INR 500 too. So if you compare, do it fairly with quality as well. Don’t compare with similar looking products. Talk about features to justify your products value. Tell them your products are quality ones and endorsed by celebrities.

I have to think about it

It means they need more clarification, help them to find it. Just tell them to try your product, it will clear all doubts. You just tell them to try your products and if still, they have any query about products or business opportunity, tell them, you are available 24x7 to help and guide them. Once your prospects find it interesting then start with them.

How long you have you been doing it?

They need validation that your products and business work. They may be ready to buy but they may be confused so they are validating before investing.

Tell them, your real journey so far, don’t exaggerate. People love fair person.

I don’t know anyone:

It’s ok, just start and learn how to socialize. This will be an additional earning for you apart from money.
